The past couple weeks have been too busy to contemplate. Now that I have a little down time, I'm thinking over my next projects: two proposals for public art participation, designs for a floor medallion, and a piece of work inspired by poetry. I've looked briefly through "The Oxford Book of English Verse" and didn't find anything that I connected with visually. So I looked up "Hope is the thing with feathers" by Emily Dickenson. Not sure where it's going, but it might be a start. At any rate, I need to have enough direction to start it by Friday because I need to show it to the selection committee on Saturday. May, or may not be done enough in time. But we'll just have to see.
